Three agencies quoted eighteen weeks. Desk Fox shipped in nine, with features the others said were impossible. The codebase is clean enough that our own engineer can maintain it — we're not locked into anything.
We were paying over £800 a month in Shopify apps alone. Desk Fox built exactly what we needed — once — and cut our running costs in half. Fourteen months in, it still runs perfectly. That's the point.
Brief to live in eleven working days. The Friday demos kept us honest about scope. The final product was sharper than what we'd briefed — that doesn't happen with agencies. It happens here.
